Hi All,

Its been a while since I have written something. I’m on the process of installing ODI in Windows 7/8 and will post the steps soon with the errors and the how to over come the issues.

There are basically 2 major steps to install the ODI Integrator

1. To install the metadata using the RCU
2. Install the ODI by using the schema created by the RCU

1. To Install the metadata using RCU.

For getting the installables for the ODI from the Oracle site please click on the download link on the right side of the blog under the download section.

I was installing through the normal process but I couldn’t proceed further after the Agent section if I was creating the Work Reporsitory and the Master Repository. This can be because my system was  a Windows 8 system. But anyways we can create the Master Repository and the Work Repository after the basic installation of the ODI also.
